Dr. Mark Mains is a Director of Workforce and Engagement with the University of Kentucky Cooperative Extension Service in the Martin-Gatton College of Agriculture, Food and Environment, as part of Blueprint Kentucky (formerly CEDIK). Dr. Mains works with Extension communities, faculty, and staff to support individuals’ success in the workforce. Dr. Mains works closely with the college’s Office of Access, Community and Engagement to create a sense of community for all faculty, staff, students, and clientele.
Dr. Mains is the National Lead for Content & Credentialing with AgriProspects, a National Institute of Food and Agriculture funded grant program that supports adult workforce development in agriculture. In this role he provides team leadership for documenting and promoting Extension educational curricula and identifying additional workforce in this area.
